Even though we both spent our childhoods playing in the creeks & cornfields of southeastern Pennsylvania, our paths didn’t cross until 2017 at Duquesne University when we were serendipitously assigned freshman dorm rooms right across the hall from each other. From being classmates to roommates to coworkers to now business partners, we’ve learned that being together is our preferred state of being.

Over the years, we’ve watched each other fall more in love with visual storytelling, learn new skills in photography & videography, and discover our unique and complementary talents. Very Lovely Photo & Film is the fulfillment of our shared dream to work and create together.

Our independent careers in the nonprofit sector have led us to a sweet, tiny bungalow in Charlotte, NC, that we now call home. With roots in eastern Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, and now Charlotte, we’re excited to capture stories in places we know or in places we have yet to explore.
